Getting antsy...

Certainly ready for things to get started. Still 2 weeks till we start build out. Emailed our contact at Zona Rosa and sent her the plans. She was concerned about fire codes, but was eased when I informed her that we wouldn't be altering the sprinkler systems. Most of the build-out is tearing down walls, painting, and hanging track lights.

Technology and the Blogging process.

Obviously it is going to take a bit of time to train myself to blog. So here is the update. Got the electricty scheduled to be turned on Sept. 1. Called the water department but they say that address does not exist. Good thing there already is running water in the place. Bought my domain name for the business. It is up and running. www.rocketboxkc.com . It is just being forwarded to the website. hmmm, that's about all for now. Starting to get a little nervous about the whole thing.... we'll see what happens.

My wife thought it would be a good idea to start a blog about the opening of our new photography studio. I know, everyone is a professional photographer these days (and don't think I haven't taken that into account). I knew if I was going to open a portrait photography studio it had to be something completely different than what already exists. So this will be a written trek of my time preparing for the opening of my new photography studio in Kansas City, ROCKETBOX STUDIO & GALLERY. So... Here we go.
